 Our Staff It takes a special kind of person to work at Top Tots, Inc. Daycare centers. We hire the best-qualified and most experienced child care professionals possible. 30% of our staff have associate degrees in child development. 70% have bachelor's degrees in education or child development. Every staff member has completed the Red Cross child/infant CPR course and basic first aid course. All staff have completed the 12-week state certification program in child development and daycare. Background checks are completed on all staff members before they join us. We are pleased to be a participant in the Senior Volunteers program which brings older residents of our area into our centers to participate with the children in story times, rocking time, arts & crafts and other activities. As you might expect, our directors are extremely qualified and passionate about providing the best quality day care experience for our children. Judith Morgan has been the director of our Cherrydale Center since 1992. A graduate of Brown College, she holds a Ed.D. degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. George Pratt directs our Silver Spoons Center. A graduate of Harvard University, he holds an M.A.Ed. degree in Education from the Harvard. He has more than 8 years of experience as an administrator and classroom teacher. 1999 marks his 6th year at Silver Spoons. Our Credentials Top Tots is a member in good standing of the NY Daycare Facilities Association and is also a certified member of the American Professional Daycare Association. Only 243 daycare facilities in the U.S. qualify for this accreditation each year. |
